Ottumwa stays perfect in conference play
OHS freshmen over Des Moines North

DES MOINES — The Ottumwa freshman boys basketball moved to 6-2 overall with a 44-26 road victory over Des Moines North Thursday night. The Bulldogs also maintained their perfect record in the conference with a 3-0 mark.

Nathan Jay paced the Bulldogs with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Two other Bulldogs hit double-figures as J.C. Salter stroked the nylon for 13 points and Zack Throckmorton added 11 points.

Ottumwa hosts Des Moines Lincoln on Monday.
