Tax Aide volunteers at mall

OTTUMWA — AARP Tax Aide volunteers will answer questions and prepare income tax returns free of charge at the Quincy Place Mall in Ottumwa. Volunteers will be available for appointments from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.

This service is for low- to moderate-income taxpayers of any age with special attention given to those age 60 and older. Electronic filing is recommended and available at no charge.

Taxpayers should bring last year's completed return when coming for assistance.

Appointments are required and can be made by calling 641-937-5749. AARP membership is not necessary.
