C C Club events set

EDDYVILLE — The Eddyville C C Club has planned the several events for the spring and summer.

At 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12 an Easter Egg Hunt for all ages will be held on the Eddyville Elementary School grounds.

The Eddyville Citywide garage sales will be held Saturday, June 7.

There will also be several opportunities to view movies in Central Park. Showings are set for June 7, July 5 and Aug. 2.

The C C Club will also be picking up garbage on Merino Avenue, watering the flowers in downtown Eddyville, helping Parks and Recreation with projects in the Central Park, and selling brooms at Bevy's in downtown Eddyville.

C C Club officers for 2014 are: Bevy Lehman, president; Pam Robus, vice president; Linda Lewman, secretary; Madelyn Walker, treasurer; and Becky Shafer, historical. Other members are: Sandy Richards, Connie Johnson, Fran Katko, Irene Rowland, LouAnn Lobberecht, Joy Greenlee, Marlene VanEngelenhoven, Donna Vroegh, Arnie Durian, Shelli Hoskins, Sandy Davis and Ellen Greene.
