More than 200 served at Christmas dinner

ALBIA — The First Iowa State Bank spread Christmas cheer by serving more than 200 dinners at its annual free Christmas dinner.

The bank has sponsored the annual dinner and donated to area churches on behalf of the Christmas open house for more than 20 years.

The open house was held Dec. 18, and donations were made to 18 churches represented by signatures from Albia, Blakesburg, Bussey, Eddyville, Lovilia, Melrose, Moravia and Ottumwa.

The bank would like to thank all the volunteers for helping make these annual events a success once again.
