FAIRFIELD — Dozens of photographers, filmmakers, storytellers, actors and musicians are invited to collaborate on a crowd-sourced documentary about a day in the life in Fairfield on Friday, Nov. 1 to coincide with the November Art Walk and many area Halloween celebrations.
The concept was the brainchild of award-winning documentary filmmaker Burt Chojnowski. Burt stated that original music, short films, photographs and video clips will be combined in a “digital community quilt” that will provide a historic record of Fairfield. Contributors will get film credits and will be invited to the premiere showing during the February 2014 Art Walk – the First Follywood Film Festival, sponsored by Centerpoint Investment Strategies.
The project will leverage new computer apps created by Apple Computer. Submissions will be accepted until Nov. 15, and contributors are encouraged to send an email to info@FollywoodFilmFestival.com for information on how to make their submissions.
This event is a product of the collaboration of Fairfield’s 1st Fridays Art Walk, Fairfield First, BC Productions and the Follywood Film Festival.
