Blue Zones Project recruiting ambassadors

Ottumwa Courier

---- — FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield Blue Zone Committee, in collaboration with the Fairfield Volunteer Center, invites any interested person to attend an information session and ambassador training at noon Thursday at the Fairfield Public Library.

The Blue Zones Project is recruiting ambassadors to help lead its efforts to improve the health and well-being of the Fairfield community. As a member of our team, we’ll make sure you have the tips, tricks and support you need to be successful and have fun along the way.

Anyone who is active in a group or organization, whether it’s a civic group (Rotary), book club, association, faith-based organization, fitness group, Girl Scout troop or PTA, can be an ambassador.

Ambassadors share information about events and opportunities, recruit people to complete the Personal Pledge and lead changes inspired by Blue Zones in their own organization.
