Floris Baptist blood drive April 28

FLORIS — Floris Baptist Church will be hosting a community blood drive from 3-6:30 p.m. April 28 inside the church fellowship hall, 502 S. Allen St.

Donors who last gave blood on or before March 3 are eligible to donate. To schedule an appointment, call Pastor Gordon Hawkins at 641-459-3840.

Donors must be at least 16 years old, be in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds. A blood donor card or other photo ID is required to donate. Sixteen-year-old donors must present a signed parental consent form each time they donate until reaching 17 years of age. Consent forms are available at www.bloodcenter.org.

Donors with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure are eligible to donate.
