BENTONSPORT — Join the Bentonsport Historic District for a new season with an open house from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
There will be artisan bread samples and artist demonstrations at Iron and Lace. The Bentonsport artisan co-op will have refreshments, lapidary and craft demonstrations. The historic Greef General store will have cupcakes and cookies as well as a drawing for two $25 gift certificates. Gems 4 Me and Angies Antiques (in the Odd Fellows building) will also be open.
Come see the new items in the different shops and learn about the new lodgings and the new renovated Stone House. The Stone House will have its own open house from 2-4 p.m. May 11, and the general public is invited.
The Greef Store will also be selling raffle tickets for the quilt show sponsored by Bentonsport Improvement Association that will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 24 in the Stone House. Forever Sweet Creations fudge shop will not be open until Memorial Day weekend.
