---- — OTTUMWA — The Ottumwa Regional Legacy Foundation’s Bright Ideas Community Enrichment Fund was established in 2011 to support charitable intentions of the various not-for-profit organizations that serve to enrich the quality of life for the residents of the city of Ottumwa and Wapello County.

The Bright Ideas Community Enrichment Fund will distribute up to $150,000 this cycle after reviewing eligible grant applications. Grant amounts are expected to range from $2,500 to $30,000. Applying organizations must be an IRS designated 501(c)(3) not-for-profit providing services in Wapello County. Priority is given to programs and projects most likely to have a positive impact on area residents.

Applicants must complete and submit the online grant application by midnight Oct. 15. Organizations that are a 501c(3) not-for-profit and interested in applying for a grant from the Bright Ideas Community Enrichment Fund should access the online grant application system at . Before starting the online application process, applicants are encouraged to review the grant checklist, which will provide assistance in completing the online process.
