---- — OTTUMWA — Parent-teacher conferences will be held Monday through Thursday during the week of Nov. 4 in the Ottumwa School District. Due to theconference schedule, no classes will be held for students on Nov. 7 and Nov. 8.
Parents with students attending the McCarroll Early Childhood Center may schedule conferences with their teachers for Nov. 5 or Nov. 7. Call for appointment times.
Eisenhower, Horace Mann, James and Wilson elementary schools will hold conferences on Nov. 4. Agassiz, Liberty and Wildwood will hold conferences on Nov. 5. All elementary schools will host conferences on Nov. 7. Conference times are from 5-8:30 p.m. on Nov. 4 and 5 and from 1-8 p.m. on Nov. 7. All elementary conferences are by appointment only. Please contact your child's teacher to schedule an appointment time if you have not already done so.
Evans Middle School parents may visit with teachers on Nov. 4 from 5-8:30 p.m. and Nov. 7 from 1-8 p.m. All conferences will be held in teacher classrooms. Sixth-grade conferences will be held by appointment. Parents will receive a form to sign-up for a conference time. Please return this form to your child's teacher as soon as possible. Confirmation of conference times will be sent home with your student. Seventh- and eighth-grade conferences will follow an “open house” format, and no appointments are necessary.
Ottumwa High School and ACCA Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Nov. 5 from 5-8:30 p.m. or Nov. 7 from 1-8 p.m. On Nov. 5, OHS teachers will be available at tables in the OHS cafeteria. No appointments are necessary. On Nov. 7, teachers will be in their classrooms for 10-minute drop-in sessions from 1-4 p.m. and will be available in the cafeteria from 5-8 p.m. Parents can pick up their student’s report card and teacher contact information during the day at the table outside the Welcome Center door (Room 105) and in the evening in the cafeteria. ACCA parents need to call 683-1342 for an appointment. ACCA conferences will be held at the Indian Hills airport location, 15260 Truman St.
