Camel Club celebrates 25 years

---- — OTTUMWA — The Camel Club, Ottumwa's Alano Society, will observe its 25th anniversary on Saturday.

Located at 410 W. Keota St. since 1993, the Camel Club will celebrate 25 years of service to the recovering community with a dinner, speaker and dance.

The scheduled activities include an all-you-can-eat dinner at 6 p.m. followed by a raffle. Richard J. from Minnesota will be the speaker at 8 p.m. with the dance to follow at 9 p.m.

The dinner will feature homemade pork and barbecue pork sandwiches, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans and cake. There will be free hot dogs for the kids. Tickets are $10 in advance or may be purchased at the door.

The top prize for the raffle will be a Chromebook touchscreen laptop. Other prizes include gift certificates, tattoos and more. Raffle tickets may be purchased at the door or from any Camel Club board member.
