Milestones AAA updates website

---- — OTTUMWA — Milestones Area Agency on Aging (AAA) announces its updated website at as a result of the state consolidation of AAA’s and the creation of Area 5 which is the combined service areas of both Seneca and Generations Area Agency on Aging along with communities in the Burlington area.

This site serves individuals and family caregivers living in the service area of Appanoose, Clinton, Davis, Des Moines, Henry, Jefferson, Keokuk, Lee, Louisa, Lucas, Mahaska, Monroe, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren, Wapello and Wayne counties. The site provides updated information on agency programs and other useful information and links.

Seniors can find monthly menus to the Senior Nutrition Centers or information on community based service that can keep them living in their own homes. Families and friends can link to the contact page and get specific answers to caregiving questions. New content is displayed on the home page along with a link to the calendar of events.

“The website is a critical component in providing outreach to individuals, seniors and family caregivers. We continue to strive to provide the most useful information possible to our communities, and this new website will aid in that effort,” said Connie Holland, Chief Executive Officer.
