Eldon blood drive Feb. 10

ELDON — The Eldon community will be hosting a community blood drive from 3-7 p.m. Feb. 10 in the main hall at the Living Hope Bible Church, 201 W. Walnut St.

Donors who last gave blood on or before Dec. 16 are eligible to donate. To schedule an appointment, call the Ottumwa Telerecruitment Department at 800-452-1097 or visit www.bloodcenterimpact.org.

Donors must be at least 16 years old, be in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds. A blood donor card or other photo ID is required to donate. Sixteen-year-old donors must present a signed parental consent form each time they donate until reaching 17 years of age. Consent forms are available at www.bloodcenter.org.

Donors with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure are eligible to donate.
