Mark Baptist Church to hold blood drive

BLOOMFIELD — Mark Baptist Church will host a community blood drive from 2:30-6:30 p.m. Sept. 26 in its Fellowship Hall, 16011 276th St.

Donors who last gave blood on or before Aug. 1 are eligible to donate. To schedule an appointment, call Gina at 641-929-3233 or call 800-452-1097.

Donors must be at least 16 years old, be in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds. A blood donor card or other photo ID is required to donate. Sixteen-year-old donors must present a signed parental consent form each time they donate until reaching 17 years of age. Consent forms are available at www.bloodcenter.org.

Donors with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure are eligible to donate.
