Cleanup Day for hazardous materials Oct. 26

KEOSAUQUA — Van Buren County will hold its annual Household Hazardous Materials Cleanup Day from 7-10 a.m. Oct. 26 at the County Road Shop, located at 20554 Hwy. 1 in Keosauqua.

Call 1-800-216-2370 to schedule an appointment with Great River Regional Waste. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. You will need to supply them with a list of your hazardous materials.

Waste Management will provide one box for the collection of electronics until full for free on a first-come basis. No appointment is necessary.

Sedore Trash Removal will provide two boxes for the collection of appliances until full for free on a first-come basis. Please remove doors of refrigerators and freezers. No appointment is necessary.
