DRAKESVILLE -- Telma Claudean Keyser, 90, of Drakesville, Iowa died May 14, 2013 at the Bloomfield Care Center in Bloomfield, Iowa. She was born December 28, 1922 in Davis County, Iowa to Marcus H. “Joe” and Olive Monahan Wheeler. She married Orville V. Keyser February 7, 1946 in Glenview, Illinois. He preceded her in death April 11, 2006. Telma was a beautician and homemaker. She enjoyed working on the family farm and loved her cats. She was a member of the Ash Grove Christian Church in Davis County.
She is survived by her son, Kris Keyser of Drakesville, Iowa, and two nieces, Judy Gettings of Ottumwa, Iowa and Connie (Paul) Cantrell of Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; an infant daughter; and a brother, Lloyd Wheeler.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 at the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield with Rev. Jim Matheney officiating. Visitation will begin after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday with the family present to greet friends from 6-7 p.m. at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
