Phyllis Dicks, 83, Moravia

MORAVIA — Phyllis Jeannette Dicks, 83, of Marshalltown, formerly of Moravia, passed from life on Oct. 20, 2012, at the Southridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marshalltown.

Phyllis joined in marriage to Paul Eugene Dicks on April 2, 1950. From this union came two children, Nick Paul Dicks and Fonda Joleen Dicks.

Phyllis, with her ever-present smile, will be missed dearly by all who knew her, but most of all by her family. Her grandchildren provided her with great joy and happiness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucy; brothers, Dale and John; and her beloved son, Nick.

Celebration of life services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Iconium United Methodist Church in Iconium; with Rev. Richard Grimes officiating. Inurnment will take place in Hillcrest Cemetery in Moravia.
