WASHINGTON — Ralph Laverne Bradshaw, 64, of Washington and formerly of Scottsdale, Ariz., died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Ralph grew up in Hedrick and graduated from Hedrick High School with the class of 1967. He furthered his education at Iowa Wesleyan, graduating from there with a degree in political science. He worked for the State of Iowa and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. In 2002, he moved to Scottsdale, Ariz. In September 2013, he moved back to Iowa to be near his family.
He is survived by his sister and her husband, Kay and Jim Slusher of Keokuk; a brother and his wife, Mark and Missy Neff of Fremont; his longtime companion, Peggy Jensen of Wayland; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Chad Neff.
As was Ralph’s wish, his body has been cremated and no services are planned.
