---- — ALBIA — Pamela Sue (DeMoss) McDonough, 63, of Bondurant, formerly of Albia, passed away on Dec. 21, 2013, in a car accident near Bondurant.

She was born on Feb. 6, 1950, to Thomas and Flora (Sebben) DeMoss.

She graduated from Albia High School, class of 1968. She then married Richard Eugene McDonough on Oct. 26, 1968, in Albia. They were blessed with three children, Tina, Susan and Tim. Pam was an abstractor, retiring in December 2012. She attended the Calvary Lutheran Church of the Deaf. She enjoyed gardening and cherished spending time with her sisters and family.

She is survived by her husband, Richard of Bondurant; children, Tina (Michael) Christman of Ankeny, Susan (Chad) Core of Ankeny, Tim (Nicole) McDonough of Des Moines; eight grandchildren, Sydney, Morgan and Taylor Christman, Seth, Kaila and Aaliyah Core, Kendell, and Harper McDonough; siblings, Margaret (Richard) Sperring, Lewis (Janice) DeMoss, Mary (Harold) Coop, Patricia Graham, Thomas (Marjorie) DeMoss, Bob (Bonnie) DeMoss, Greg DeMoss and Dorothy Hutchinson, Michael DeMoss, all of Albia, Diana (Mark) Mincks of West Des Moines and Fran (William) Magie of Polk City; two sisters-in-law, Gracie DeMoss of Albia and Helen DeMoss of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Lyle, John and Gary DeMoss.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Albia; Pastor Dennis Konkel officiating. Burial will follow in Cuba Cemetery near Avery.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the Johnston Evangelical Free Church, 9901 NW 62nd Ave., Johnston, Iowa 50131, and also from 9-11 a.m. Monday at the church.

Memorials may be given to the family and will be designated at a later date.
