BLOOMFIELD — Aaron Craig Scott, 25, of Bloomfield, died March 6, 2014, at his home.
He was born March 1, 1989, in Ottumwa to Craig Charles and Kathi Lea Weller Scott. He had worked at Pioneer in Hedrick and was working at Hamilton Produce in Bloomfield. Aaron enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, playing pitch and having fun. He had a big heart and was always smiling. He was active in 4-H and FFA while in school and volunteered at the Davis County Fair helping with the sheep show. He was a member of the Bloomfield Volunteer Fire Department and the Bloomfield United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Kathi Scott of Bloomfield; sister, Angelia Scott of Bloomfield; grandparents, Charlie and Carolyn Scott, also of Bloomfield; a nephew, Blake Charles; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Craig Scott; grandparents, Sharon and Larry Weller; and grandfather, Everett “Bucky” Wheaton.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Bloomfield United Methodist Church; Rhonda Eakins officiating. Cremation will follow the service with burial of the cremains at the IOOF Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday with the family present to greet friends from 2-4 p.m. at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be given to the memorial, which will be established at a later date.
