---- — OTTUMWA — Pauline L. “Polly” Cox, 99, of Ottumwa, formerly of Marshalltown and Cherokee Village, Ark., died at 11:32 a.m. September 19, 2013, at Vista Woods Care Center.

She was born October 29, 1913, in Green Mountain to Rob and Nellie Boswell. She married Ronald Cox, and he preceded her in death.

Polly was a hairdresser in Marshalltown, and she and her husband owned and operated Cox Brothers Interiors in Ottumwa.

Surviving are two stepdaughters, Marilyn Cremer of Agency and Annette (Dan “Bud”) Coulter of Traer; eight stepgrandchildren; 16 stepgreat-grandchildren; several stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

Her body has been cremated.

Memorial services and inurnment will be in Green Mountain Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Hospice serving Wapello and Davis Counties, 927 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Ottumwa, Iowa 52501.
