---- — OTTUMWA — Ann Marie Manro, 91, of 548 Chester Ave, died at 1:35 p.m. April 6, 2014, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

She was born May 12, 1922, in Ottumwa to Henry J. and Grace Banner Krafka. She married Russell N. Manro on May 8, 1948, in Ottumwa. He preceded her in death on October 18, 1979.

A resident of Ottumwa all of her life, she was a 1941 graduate of Ottumwa High School. Following graduation, Ann worked for Northwestern Bell for about eight years.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church.

Surviving are a son, Bruce A. Manro of Ottumwa; a daughter, Julie A. (Robert) Eggerman of Taylorville, Ill.; a stepgrandson, Shane (Mimi) Eggerman; two stepgreat-granddaughters, Emily and Abby Eggerman, all of Old Hickory, Tenn.; a half sister, Sarah Sade of Marshalltown.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, George, Gene “Dieg,” Luke, Matt and Edward Krafka and a sister, Pauline Davis.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Julie Fiske officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church.
