Sandra Sue Berry, 57, of 617 Wabash, died at 7:23 a.m. February 5, 2013 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
She was born August 7, 1955 in Iowa City to William and Lavon Gates Tennison. She married Paul Berry. He preceded her in death.
A 1973 graduate of Eddyville High School, Sue had worked at Chamberlain Mfg., Jefferson Square Manor and Ottumwa Manor. She was presently employed at Ridgewood Nursing & Rehab Center.
She loved camping and spending time with her family.
Surviving are five sisters, Linda (Art) Steele of Eldon, Shirley (Frank) Fisher, Connie Ashby, Pam (Richard) Underwood all of Ottumwa; Gina Tennison (Randy Adams) of Arispe, IA; two brothers, Dick Tennison and Jim Tennison both of Ottumwa; many nieces and nephews; her best friend, John Johnson of Ottumwa; a step-daughter, Paula of Ottumwa; two step-sons, Dennis Foster of Des Moines and Paul Berry Jr. of Ottumwa; and a step-grandson, Billy Whisler.
She was preceded in death by her parent; a sister, Barbara; and a nephew.
Her body has been cremated.
Graveside services and inurnment will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery with Pastor LuEllen Worth officiating.
