OTTUMWA — Larry W. Morrow, 68, of 2306 W. Main St., died at 5:25 a.m. October 24, 2013, at Oakwood Nursing & Rehab Center in Albia.
He was born September 13, 1945, in Belknap to Earl Oliver and Wilma June Snook Morrow.
He graduated from Davis County High School in 1963 and spend 8 ½ years in the Air Force, stationed in Thailand and England.
He was employed at Everco Industries until their closing. Larry enjoyed fishing, junking, telling jokes, going to auctions and playing cribbage.
Larry is survived by his ex-wife, Vicki, and their dog, Lily, with whom he made his home; three stepsons, Jody Thomas of Ottumwa, Cory Thomas of Eldon and Shawn (Dawn) Thomas of Puyallup, Wash.; four grandchildren, Megan Shelby of Fayetteville, N.C., Aaron Thomas of Ottumwa, Tylar Thomas and Amanda Thomas of Puyallup, Wash.; two sisters, Margaret (Ben) Turner of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mable (Manny) Eickmeier of Peoria, Ill.; a brother, Rex (Vee) Morrow of Great Falls, Mont.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jack and Don Morrow; three sisters, Jean Fisher, Jane Truitt and Joan Morrow; and a granddaughter, Ariel Thomas.
As per his wishes, his body has been cremated.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Courtney officiating. The family will be present one hour prior to the service.
