OTTUMWA — Donna I. Eastlick, 77, of 1124 S. Milner St., died at 8:53 a.m. July 18, 2013, at her home.
She was born August 7, 1935, in Albia to Leonard and Leona Sleeth Brewer. She married William Kenneth Eastlick on May 5, 1955. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2013.
Donna was a graduate of Ottumwa High School and St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing.She worked as a registered nurse for Monroe County Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital and Ottumwa Regional Health Center. She worked nine years for Dr. Peter Reiter, retiring in 1992.
She helped her husband with hosting at the camp grounds and also worked for American Gothic Home Health Care.
Donna was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, crocheting, camping and fishing. Donna loved dancing and country music. When her husband became a resident at The Good Samaritan Society-Ottumwa, Donna became a volunteer there.
Surviving are four sons, Bill J. (Diana) Eastlick of Blakesburg, Bob Eastlick of Ottumwa, David (Tina) Eastlick of Blakesburg and Dan (Tami) Eastlick of Ottumwa; a daughter, Yvonne Vandello of Ottumwa; nine grandchildren; a stepgranddaughter; 10 great-grandchildren; a stepgreat-grandson; two sisters, Genevieve Emanuel of Texas and Cleo Baker of Blakesburg; a brother, Leo Brewer of Ft. Collins, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harold and Donald Brewer and a sister, Velta Zanoni.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with Father Patrick Hilgendorf officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Monday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
