Ottumwa Transit wants to hear from the public.
Two public forums will be held, one 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday and the other 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, both in Room 108 at City Hall.
“Anybody who attends has the opportunity to voice their opinion regarding any possible change or suggestion to the routes or schedules,” said Ottumwa Transit Executive Director Diane Gawronski.
Ottumwa Transit is in the process of a “route review” by completing surveys on the city routes, taking suggestions from its employees and riders and working with a consultant.
“We’ve been checking on our ridership, really,” Gawronski said. “Why people ride the bus, where they buy passes, how often they ride.”
