BIRMINGHAM — Tanna J. Roberts, 53, of rural Birmingham, died at 7:29 p.m. April 18, 2013, at University Hospital, Iowa City.
She was born Oct. 18, 1959, in Keosauqua to Rollin and Gloria Warner Davis and married Thomas Roberts July 28, 1979, at Miller Chapel south of Ottumwa. Tanna graduated from Cardinal High School and Indian Hills Community College in the medical field. She was a certified nursing assistant and certified medication aide and worked many years at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center, Keosauqua and Nelson Nursing Home, Fairfield.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Jennifer Sinn of Birmingham; a son, Thomas J. Roberts (JoAdda) of Douds; her father, Rollin Davis of Eldon; grandmother, Alice Davis of Douds; a brother, William Davis of Eldon; two sisters, Ronda Lewman (Jeff Parrish) of rural Douds and Jeanna Davis (Robert Burke) of Eldon; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother; an infant brother, Rollin Davis Jr.; grandparents, Varold Davis and David and Mary Warner.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua; Pastor Phil Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Bonaparte Cemetery.
Visitation will open at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the family present 5-7 p.m. Sunday.
