---- — BLOOMFIELD — Lois Kathryn Ramseyer, 88, of Bloomfield, died June 16, 2013, at the Bloomfield Care Center.

She was born Nov. 12, 1924, in Unionville, Mo., to Nicholas Reason and Hazel Vera Worley Hecker. She married Charles Samuel Ramseyer on March 31, 1943, in Pulaski. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1998. Lois was a homemaker, seamstress and farm wife. She was an active member of the Pulaski Mennonite Church and was involved as a helper for 4-H. She enjoyed quilting and gardening.

She is survived by three sons, Larry (Connie) Ramseyer of Altoona, Dennis (Joyce) Ramseyer of Burlington, Paul Ramseyer of Bloomfield; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild expected next month; brother, Neal Hecker of Mariposa, Calif.; and a sister-in-law, Pat Hecker of Warrensburg, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Justin William Ramseyer; two brothers, Max and George Hecker; and a sister, Louise Francis.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Pulaski Mennonite Church; Pastor Darrell Zook officiating. Burial will be at the Pulaski Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the family present to greet friends from 5-7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Pulaski Mennonite Church Building Fund.
