OTTUMWA — June M. Donnelly, 92, of Ottumwa, died at 2 a.m. April 18, 2014, at the Iowa Jewish Senior Life Center in Des Moines.
She was born June 12, 1921, in Wapello County, Iowa, to Alfred and Alma Hindman White. She married Dwight M. Donnelly Sr. on December 19, 1940. He preceded her in death on November 7, 2002.
June was a 1939 graduate of Ottumwa High School. She was employed by CPA firms R.W. Smith and then Drish & Zimmerman. She later was self-employed providing accounting services for local businesses.
June was a member of Willard St. United Methodist Church, National Secretaries Association and American Business Women’s Association. She enjoyed needlework, especially counted cross stitch and embroidery.
Surviving are two sons, Dwight (Karen) Donnelly of Thornton, Colo., and Douglas Michael (Bonnie) Donnelly of Clive; seven grandchildren, William (Cindy) DeHaan of San Antonio, Texas, Jeff (Jill) DeHaan of Wooster, Ohio, Laurie DeHaan of Cleveland, Ohio, Dwight Donnelly III of Dillon, Colo., Angela Donnelly of Ft. Collins, Colo., Douglas (Deanne) Donnelly Jr. of Clive, Kevin (Maria) Donnelly of Waukesha, Wis.; five great-grandchildren, Nathan, Jacob and Brittany DeHaan, Ryan and Lauren Donnelly; two brothers, Ralph White of Ft. Myers, Fla., and Clarence (Lois) White of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Maureen DeHaan; and a brother, Glen White.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Friday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
