OTTUMWA — Mickey Parker Long, 45, of 202 N. Hancock St., died at 7:05 a.m. April 21, 2014, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
She was born December 10, 1968, and raised by Ernie and Mary Parker, Dave and Carol McCall. She met the love of her life in February 1997.
Mickey enjoyed family, camping, fishing, golfing and her dear companions, Keisha, Baby, Socks, Shadow and Snoopy.
Surviving are her love, George Nichols; her children, Brittany (Matthew) Facemyer, Jeremy (Cindy) Nichols, Jessica Nichols; five grandchildren; three sisters, Toni Archer, Jackie (Jerry) Davis, Karma Stivers, all of Ottumwa; five brothers, Pat (Kris) Parker, Ron Parker, Rick Canny, Kevin Coy, all of Ottumwa, Wayne (Kelly) Jones of Bussey; her mother, Mary Parker of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lonnie Parker and Scottie Stivers; grandparents, Earl and Edith Parker, Charlie and Nellie Rupe; her father, Ernie Parker.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home with Mike McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Kingdom Cemetery in Davis County.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Thursday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
