OTTUMWA — Elizabeth A. Baker, 78, of Hot Springs, Ark., formerly of Ottumwa, died April 23, 2014, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Hot Springs.
She was born August 10, 1935, in Wapello County, Iowa, to Norman J. and Hilda Kalen Condon. She married Richard “Dick” Baker on May 8, 1960. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2000. She married Nacy Randle on May 14, 2003. He preceded her in death in December 2010.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School, she later received training in X-ray in 1956. She loved to travel and was very active in her community.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Hot Springs, Hot Springs Music Club and The Salvation Army.
Surviving are her children, Nancy Baker of Hot Springs, Ark., Brian (Shelia) Baker of S. Beloit, Ill., and Kevin (Martha) Baker of Tucson, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Karen and Matthew Baker; a sister, Catherine Breed of Ottumwa; a brother, Harvey (Alberta) Condon of Fairfield; and extended family.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois and Dora Jean.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Julie Fiske officiating. Burial will be in McCormick Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Saturday with the family present one hour prior to the service.
