OTTUMWA — Donna Kay Wilson Ellis, 67, of 813 E. Woodland Ave., died at 8 a.m. May 2, 2014, at her home.
She was born October 25, 1946, in Milton, Iowa, to Russell and Loretta Hogan Wilson. She married Larry W. Ellis on November 27, 1965.
A graduate of Fox Valley High School and Ottumwa Beauty Academy, she worked at K-Mart 14 years and Hy-Vee.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She loved genealogy, gardening and sewing. She was always sharing her talents and giving to others.
Surviving are her husband, Larry; her children, Thomas, Kevin (Loni), Michael (Tammy), Karen and Teresa Ellis, all of Ottumwa, and Matthew (Mary) Ellis of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Monte (Elaine) Wilson of Bloomfield.
She is preceded in death by her parents; infant grandsons, Trenton and Seth Ellis; and an infant brother, Bruce R. Wilson.
Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Father Patrick Hilgendorf officiating.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or Heartland Pregnancy Center.
