OTTUMWA — Patty Jean Flinn, 79, of 924 Queen Anne Ave., died at 11:25 a.m. November 15, 2013, at Hospice House in Ottumwa.
She was born November 26, 1933, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Fred and Leona Brewer Collins. She married Donald O. Flinn on December 6, 1957.
Patty had worked at Langley Optical. She was an avid bowler, and she and her husband loved to travel.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Shelley (Wayne) English of Louisville, Ky., Cathy (Dan) Nichols of Zebulon, Ga., and Julie (Rick) Vose of Ottumwa; two sons, Brian Flinn and Donald (Kristin) Flinn both of Ottumwa; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Collins and Bobby “Butch” Collins.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Jon Disburg officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Sunday with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
