OTTUMWA – Bobby L. “Grayhawk” Corder, 40, of 450 N. Green St., died August 17, 2013, at his home.
He was born October 8, 1972, in Hicksville, Ohio, to David D. Corder and Patricia Lou Sanchez.
Bobby worked as a cook in many different restaurants. He loved to read, fish and was interested in his Native American culture.
Surviving are a daughter, Kristin Corder of Ottumwa; a son, Jesse Corder of Hot Sulphur Springs, Colo.; a grandson, Grayson; his mother, Patricia Sanchez (Chief Taina Amayi Rivera) of Ottumwa; a stepfather, Anthony Leahy of Ottumwa; two brothers, David Corder II and Glen Hampshire; three sisters, Crystal Rukgaber, Kaci and Felicia Corder.
He was preceded in death by his father, David, and his grandparents.
His body has been cremated.
A celebration of life service and inurnment will be 10 a.m. Friday at Shaul Cemetery. A reception will follow at Memorial Park.
