Frank Lee Stivers, 76, of 12737 Copperhead Road, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013.
He was born Sept. 17, 1936 in Bloomfield to John Washington and Hazel Rutledge Stivers.
A resident of the Ottumwa area all of his life except for 35 years he lived in Waterloo, he was a licensed plumber for Carpenter Plumbing in Waterloo. He loved stock car racing and was an avid fisherman. He had attended Floris Baptist Church.
Surviving are two brothers, Jim (Joanne) Stivers, of Ottumwa, and Donald Stivers, of Florida; and a sister, Nancy (Leroy) Sanders, of Hedrick; his extended family, Dawn (Steve, deceased) Harward and their sons, Charles (Ericka) Harward and Christopher Harward, and their five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, James, John and Bennie Stivers; and two sisters, Georgia Young and Norma Myers.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hardin Cemetery near Moulton; with Pastor Gordon Hawkins officiating.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Monday at Reece Funeral Home, with family present from 5-7 p.m. Monday.
