Audrey Harbour, 89, Ottumwa

OTTUMWA — Audrey Pauline Harbour, 89, formerly of 910 W. Second, went home to be with her Savior at 1:10 a.m. Feb. 21, 2013 at the home of her daughter, Karen, and son-in-law, Jayson Humble, in rural Batavia.

As a member of Christ’s Church in Ottumwa, she loved singing the old gospel hymns and had trusted in the Lord Jesus. She was employed by Standard Kollsman, Langley Optical and worked from 1973-84 for John Deere Ottumwa Works, where she retired.

She was a wonderful mother not only to her own children, but many others. To know her was to love her. She enjoyed Bingo, cards, fishing and hunting mushrooms and was a good seamstress. She gave much time and energy to Soap Creek Rebels Saddle Club as a founding member.
