Timmy Davis Jr., 8, Albia

ALBIA — Timmy Shane Davis Jr., 8, was called home to join the Lord with his loving family by his side on March 2, 2011. 

Timmy was born on Oct. 29, 2002, in Austin, Texas to Timothy Davis and Eleanor Taylor.

Timmy was in second grade in Albia. Timmy loved people, especially his brother and sisters. He enjoyed listening to loud music, being read to and loved being held. He was a little ladies’ man, loving the pretty girls. Grandmama was his favorite toy.

Timmy is survived by parents, Eleanor and William McDonald of Albia and Tim Davis of Bastrop, Texas; siblings, Leah and Hannah Davis and Christopher McDonald of Albia; grandparents, Sandra and Armand DeBerzzinae of Clearwater, Fla., Jack and Suzanne Taylor of Bastrop, Texas, Joan and Bill McDonald of Albia and Connie (Cliff Arnold) Davis of Bastrop, Texas; great-grandparents, Claudette and Pete Hinis; aunts and uncles, Claudette Taylor, Taryn Nitz, Randy (Kristi) Watson, Shelia Wright, Roy Taylor, Jason Taylor, Cheri Rice, Mickey Mahrens, Quenton (Sam) McDonald, Lee (Heather) McDonald, Carrie Murray, Daniel (Rachel) McDonald, Vanessa McDonald, Gary Dean Davis and Cassi Arnold; and many cousins, friends, nurses and so many that shared in Timmy’s life.  

Timmy is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Ed and Margaret McDonald, Roy and Eleanor Taylor, David Stamps, Mack and Betty McClain and John and Darlene Williamson.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Albia; the Rev. Neil Montz officiating. Timmy’s body will be cremated following funeral services.

Visitation will take place today, opening to the public at 1 p.m., and the family will be present from 4-8 p.m. today at the Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Albia.
