Cleo Virginia Jennings, 96, formerly of Ottumwa, died April 29, 2013, at Iowa River Hospice in Marshalltown.
She was born Jan. 12, 1917, in Novinger, Mo., to Sam and Opal Miller Richardson.
She married Carl Jennings June 1, 1936, in Lancaster, Mo.
She was a member of Ottumwa Baptist Temple and a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Gary E. Jennings of Clear Lake and Kenneth E. (Mary Ann) Jennings of Waukee; one daughter, Carolyn S. Bethlehem (Greg) Kerrick of Pompano Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren, Scott Jennings of Des Moines and Terry Bethlehem of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and a sister, Maxine Balch of Cookville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Kenneth Richardson; and two sisters, Dorothea Arnold and Norma Carruba.
A private graveside service will be held at Shaul Cemetery; with Pastor Randy Miller officiating.
