BLOOMFIELD — Alice Mae Harward, 99, of Bloomfield, died Jan. 23, 2014, at the Bloomfield Care Center.
She was born Feb. 4, 1914, in Davis County to Ross and Jessie E. Gant Harward. She was a graduate of Bloomfield High School and worked at the Buddy L. Toy Factory in East Moline for more than 20 years. Alice loved to fish with her great-nephews and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was active in the Quilting and Sewing Club in Floris for many years.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Maxine Harward of Floris; niece, Karen (Tony) Fenimore of Dallas, Texas; niece-in-law, Dawn R. Harward of Bloomfield; three great-nephews, C. Michael (Erika) Harward of Floris, Christopher Harward of Bloomfield, Dustin Fenimore of Dallas, Texas; and five great-great-nieces and nephews, Gary, Kaitlyn, McKenna, Bailey and Jordan Harward.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Buck, Jim, William and Chuck Harward; sister, Olive Wilbraham; and nephew, Steven E. Harward.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Floris Cemetery; Pastor Gordon Hawkins officiating.
No visitation is planned.
