His family includes a son, Donald Lee (Carla) Burdock of Keswick; two daughters: Eileen Louise (Lyle) Blom of Oskaloosa and Beverly Raydene (Richard) Atchison of Pella; 10 grandchildren, Bob, Jeff and Kevin Burdock, Melissa Trumpold, Heather Fischer, Jack and Jay Blom, Janelle Blom Randau and Todd and Tedd Atchison; and many great-grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Emma Louise Moskop.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa; Rev. Charlie McMillian officiating. A luncheon at Central United Methodist Church will immediately follow the funeral ceremony. A graveside service and burial will be in the Highland Cemetery in Eddyville at 1 p.m.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the family present at the funeral chapel from 5-7 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the new Mahaska County Caldwell Conservation Center.
