MILTON — Lucille Helen Richardson, 88, of Milton, died May 8, 2013 at the Bloomfield Care Center in Bloomfield.
She was born April 8, 1925 in Milwaukee, Wis., to Benjamin and Johanna Protzman Manz. She married Merle Richardson on Nov. 16, 1946 in Milwaukee. Lucille was a homemaker. She was a charter member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bloomfield. She was also a member of the Help Your Neighbor Club and was a 4-H Leader.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Charles (Debra) Richardson of Runnells, Thomas Richardson of Fairfield, Gerald (Alice) Richardson of Ottumwa; two daughters, Lynn Richardson of Des Moines, Theresa (Neil) Johnson of Swisher; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ben Richardson; brother, Lester Manz; sister, June Mack; and a daughter-in-law, Sheryl Richardson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bloomfield; Pastor Brian Gentz officiating. Burial will be at the Troy Cemetery in Troy.
