He is survived by his bride of 71 years, Jewel A. Bergman Barker; children, Connie Terrell and Walter Lavern (Cathy) Barker; four grandchildren, Kim Terrell, Kris (Dani) Terrell and Kelli (Chris) Hall and Amy (Jeff) Crouse-Spurgeon, along with six great-grandchildren, Brent and Taylor, Gabbie and Tanner, Chloe and Camden as well as extended family, near and far.
Graveside services and burial will be 1 p.m. Friday at Shaul Cemetery with Pastor Jim Rightler officiating. Military services will be conducted by Walter B. Schafer Post No. 775 Veterans of Foreign Wars and O.B. Nelson Post No. 3 American Legion.
Visitation will be open after 11 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home.
