KEOSAUQUA — Martha Mae Wolfe Glaha, 73, of Keosauqua, died at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 5, 2013, at the home of her daughter, Kimberly Maserang, in Bonaparte.
She was born Dec. 1, 1939, in Mt. Sterling to Leonard Kerle and Dorotha Evans Wolfe and had been married to Harold Thomas Glaha.
Martha graduated from Van Buren High School in May 1957. She retired from Alaniz LLC in Mt Pleasant. Throughout her many career choices, the ones she loved the most were working at AJ’s Bar and Grill, Mt. Sterling, and being on the baseball field.
Surviving are her seven children, Kimberly Maserang (Tom) of Bonaparte, Ted Glaha (Lisa) of La Belle, Mo., Bill Glaha (Virginia) of Englewood, Colo., Kevin Glaha (Cathy) of Mt. Pleasant, Trisha Glaha (Spring) of Burlington, Tracey Blanchard of Fort Madison, Mark Glaha of New London; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and dogs Tiny, Peino and Hope. She had many friends that were just like family and touched many lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dean and Billy Wolfe.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua; Larry Shipley officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cantril.
Visitation will open at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with family present from 4-5 p.m.
