Howard Dage, 49, Albia


ALBIA — Howard Lee (Pearce) Dage, 49, of Rogers, Ark., formerly of Albia, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct. 26, 2012, at his residence in Rogers.

He was born Jan. 11, 1963, and was a longtime resident of Albia.

He loved the outdoors, his family, relatives and friends. He loved music and used his singing talent often. He was strong in his faith and was an active member of the Pure Hearts Mission Fellowship Church in Arkansas.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Dage of Albia; sister, Becky Roberts of Albia; brother, Ron Dage (Karen) of Amana; brother, Tom Dage (Carol) of Kansas City, Kan.; stepson, James and son, Christopher of Homer, Neb.; stepson, Jordan and daughter, Allison of Ottumwa; grandson, Hayden Dustin Lee Pearce of Homer, Neb.; and many relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty, of Arkansas; his father, Lawrence Dage of Albia; his son, Dustin Lee Pearce of Homer, Neb.; and an infant brother, Thimothy Paul Dage of Albia.

The cremains will be returned to Iowa, and a funeral and burial will be held at a later date.
