OTTUMWA — Richard Lonnie Eastwood, 61, of 605 Tuttle St., died October 6, 2013, at his home.
He was born May 25, 1952, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to Rueben and Clara Hedrick Eastwood.
Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked for 14 years at Everco and was presently working for Tenco and Champion Bowl.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Surviving are a son, Joe (Maggie) Eastwood of Grinnell; a daughter, Connie (Donald) Adams of Ottumwa; three grandchildren, Zachary, Alyssa and Alexander; six sisters, Carolyn (Charles) Morey, Linda Throgmartin, Nancy (Arthur) Receveur, Janice (Howard) Tubb and Phyllis Anderson, all of Ottumwa, Karen Koth of Grinnell; two brothers, Darrell (Peggy) Eastwood of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Steve Eastwood of Ottumwa.
He was preceded in death by two infant sisters, Pamela Sue and Teresa Dawn Eastwood.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Perricellia officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery with military services conducted by O.B. Nelson Post #3 American Legion and Walter B. Schafer Post #775 Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
