Mary Louise Ketcham, 94, formerly of Ottumwa, died Jan. 15, 2013 at Woodlands Creek Active Retirement Community in Clive.
She was born March 8, 1918 in Ottumwa to Michael and Sadie Speer Ryan. She married Floyd “Dutch” Ketcham on Nov. 19, 1939. He preceded her in death in June 1967.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1936, she attended the Iowa Success School. She had worked as a ward secretary at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Capt. USN (ret.) Richard “Dick” (Susan) Ketcham of Davenport, Fla., and Dr. Michael (Sue) Ketcham of The Villages, Fla.; five grandchildren, Mike, Bob, David, Rick and Kelly; 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Nora Cregan; two brothers, Robert and James Ryan.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Reece Funeral Home with Don Bramschreiber officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Sunday with the family present from 2-4 p.m. Sunday.
