* Lifestyle Page Guidelines Anniversary, engagement and wedding announcements will be published in this section every Wednesday. Forms available at The Ottumwa Courier’s reception desk, 213 E. Second, Ottumwa, must be filled out in legible handwriting or printed and include a phone number where the person submitting the announcement may be reached. We will not re-run notices if a form has not been filled out. Must be a current or former resident of our nine county coverage area. Anniversaries with picture are published in five year increments only, beginning with 25th wedding anniversary. Friday noon is the deadline for publication Wednesday. If space allows. Please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope with each picture. Only actual photos or e-mailed JPEG or TIFF format attachments will be used. All other formats will not be accepted. .
**Run your announcement photo in color The Courier is now offering readers the opportunity to run photos with your wedding, anniversary and engagement announcements in color. 1 column size color photo $40 with announcement; 2 column size color photo $60 with announcement. “Then and Now” Anniversary/60 Plus Birthday photos are now being offered as a special package for the low cost of $60. The “Then” photo of the wedding will be printed in black and white and the “Now” photo (current photo) will be in color, both one column size. We will continue to run such announcements, free, with a black-and-while photo that you provide. Now, you may run the photo in color for an additional charge.
