No respect offered at funeral

Ottumwa Courier

---- — No respect for a deaf man at his mother’s funeral.

My friend didn’t know what was going on in regards to his mother’s funeral. He thought the hearse would take his mother to the cemetery. I told him no, cremation was the plan. His relatives did not ask him about the flowers. Some of them took flowers to take home. Some of the people who took flowers were not even relatives. He asked for flowers to take home, but his uncle told him no. My friend was very upset about that. He wanted to have flowers to take home. He had nothing to take with him from his mother’s funeral.

I feel sorry for him. He is very good guy. His relatives did not explain everything about the funeral for his mother.
