OSKALOOSA — Oskaloosa hosted a non-scoring quadrangular on Tuesday.

The Indians came up with several winning times.

Osky senior Ben Davis won the 800 run in a time of 2:04.01. Davis also won the 3,200 run (10:57.39). Steven Staggs streaked to a winning time of 11.47 in the 100 dash.

Oskaloosa also won the shuttle hurdle relay, the 4x200 and the 4x100.

Alex Christenson won the 1,600 run in a time of 5:08.76.

The Albia Blue Demons took first or second place in a number of events at the invite.

In the long jump, Albia’s Kile Overmyer leaped 19-10 to win the event. Clayton Brady placed third for the Blue Demons. Overmyer placed second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.50.

Donovan Helm added another first-place finish in the 110 high hurdles. Helm crossed the finish line in 16.88 to take the top honors. Helm also won the 400 hurdles with a time of 61.03 seconds.

The Blue Demons won the 4x400 relay with the team of Clayton Brady, Mitchel Sparks, Kyle McFall and Austin Hutchinson in 4:14.6.

Albia’s Kyle McFall finished second in the 3,200 meter run with a time of 11:33.25. Logan Dorpinghaus’ time of 2:05.0 was good enough for second in the 800 meter run.

Two Albia relay teams finished second. The team of Logan Williams, Robert Pistek, Patrick Wynn and Devon Gottschalk took second in the medley relay with a time of 4:10.28.

In the shuttle hurdle relay, Albia ran a time of 1:09.18 for second place. Helm, Jesse Simmons, Brady and Austin Hutchinson ran in the event for the Blue Demons.
