OSKALOOSA — Oskaloosa battled a tough field, finishing fourth at the Little Hawkeye Conference Tennis Meet Monday.
The Indians racked up 26 points in the meet. Boone took home first place.
Oskaloosa played well in doubles competition. In the flight one doubles, Laura Tucker and Hannah Hedge finished second place after winning two of three matches. Hedge and Tucker scored a 6-3, 6-1 win in the semifinals to advance to the title.
In flight two doubles, Oskaloosa’s Jennifer Vonk and Jessica Harwood finished in third place. Vonk and Harwood won two of their three matches in the meet. In their last match, the duo won 6-4, 6-3.
LeAnan White competed in the flight one singles for Oskaloosa. White split in her four matches in the meet. The effort was good enough for a sixth place finish in the Indians.
The last Oskaloosa player to take the court was Cassie Abbas in the flight two singles. Abbas bounced back from a first match loss to defeat Grinell’s Jenna Murphy 6-2, 6-0.

Laura Tucker/Hannah Hedge (O) defeated Lisa Mcgonegle/Julianna Pearson (No) 6-2, 6-3; Tucker/Hedge (O) defeated Kelsey Schuring/Kellie Korver (P) 6-1, 6-3; Traci Moklested/Maggi Shutte (B) defeated Hedge/Tucker (O) 6-1, 6-2.

Maria Bouwkamp (PC) defeated Cassie Abbas (O) 6-1, 6-3; Abbas (O) defeated Jenna Murphy (G) 6-2, 6-0; Kayla Clarkwilt (No) defeated Abbas 7-6 (7-4), 0-6, 10-7.
